Mission Opportunities
CMDA San Antonio has numerous mission opportunities throughout the year- locally, on the border with Mexico, and internationally in the Dominican Republic. Medical and dental students and professionals have an opportunity to put their faith into practice in various settings. Non-medical participants will find a place to serve as well! Church Under the Bridge
This is a ministry providing medical and dental services to the homeless population of San Antonio through our partnership with the Church Under the Bridge located in southeast San Antonio. Join us in providing much needed care in Jesus' name to this vulnerable population.
Refugee Clinic
This is a ministry in partneship with UT Health providing medical and dental care to the refugee population in San Antonio. Many of these individuals have come from Eastern Europe, are orienting to a new culture, non-English speaking, and are of the Muslim faith. Join us in providing culturally sensitive care while demonstrating the love of Jesus to these brothers and sisters.
The Wheelchair Clinic
This is one of our most rewarding service opportunities. We take a team of healthcare providers and wheelchair parts to Del Rio, TX where severely disabled children from Mexico are brought to our US consulate partner. Here they are fitted with wheelchairs to assist with their mobility and homecare needs. In many cases this is the first time these individuals have had any type of mobility device. Join us for this lifechanging experience!
Annual Dominican Republic Trip
This is our annual international mission trip to Santo Domingo, DR where we partner with STCH (South Texas Children's Home) and IBQ church to provide medical and dental care to the underserved population. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve, and many participants come away feeling as if they have received as much or more than they have given. Become a part of our team and discover how God will use you in His kingdom work.
